Bruno is deeply involved in promoting grassroots sports and using it as a tool for healthy lifestyles and social cohesion, both nationally and internationally. He is the President of CSIT (International Workers & Amateurs in Sports Confederation) and AICS (Italian Association of Sport and Culture) in Italy. He has held various esteemed positions, including being a former member of the Italian Parliament, a member of the Italian Olympic Committee and Paralympic Committee Board, and has received prestigious awards for his contributions to sports.
Bruno is an advocate for equal opportunities and combatting discrimination in sports, sustainable tourism, and cultural activities. During his tenure, he has established departments and initiatives that promote social inclusion, such as the Para-Sport Department at CSIT, a network of welcoming centers for asylum seekers and refugees at AICS, and an LGBT sector to tackle discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. He was also the promoter of the Ius Solis Law in Italy, which facilitated access to sports for minor immigrants.
